Make Hybrid Meetings Accessible and Inclusive
Here are some tips to make your hybrid meetings and classes more accessible and inclusive to all participants. These link to Zoom documentation.
- Turn on the option for participants to request closed captioning of audio
- Select skin tone on your emojis under the General Settings
- Add pronouns to your profile. Instead of adding them to your first or last name, you can now add pronouns to your profile and determine when you'd like Zoom to show them.
- Turn on dim view to mute flashing visuals, check chat size, and enable screen reader options in Accessibility Settings. Read more from Zoom about Accessibility: https://explore.zoom.us/en/accessibility/
- Consider making presentation materials and the recording and transcript available to participants for review
