Mac Office Licensing Issue

If you are unable to edit files in Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, etc) or there is pop asking to "activate windows", please try the following:

Make sure that all Microsoft apps (Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.) are closed by pressing CTRL and selecting "quit".

Click on your desktop or open a Finder window, then click on the “Go” menu at the top of your screen.

Select “Go to Folder” and enter “~/Library/Group Containers/” and press Return.

This will open a new Finder window. If any of the following folders appear in this folder (or any other folders that start with UBF8T346G9 or similar), move each of them to the trash:

UBF8T346G9.ms

UBF8T346G9.Office

UBF8T346G9.OfficeOsfWebHost

UBF8T346G9.com.microsoft.oneauth

UBF8T346G9.OfficeOneDriveSyncIntegration

Once deleted, restart your device, and re-open Microsoft
