Setting up MFA on a New Phone
Prepare the New Phone:
Access the Security Info Page:
Update Phone Information:
Once logged in, under Security info, you’ll see your current MFA methods.
Select Add method and choose Authenticator app.
Follow the prompts to set up the new phone with the Microsoft Authenticator app.
Set Up the Authenticator App:
Open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your new phone.
In the app, select Add account, then choose Work or school account.
Use your phone’s camera to scan the QR code displayed on the Microsoft 365 security info page.
The app should now be configured with your account.
Test the Setup:
After setting up, test the authentication to ensure everything is working correctly.
You can do this by signing in to your Oxy email and verifying that the MFA prompt is working on your new phone.
