For your laptop it should either be set to "laptop" or HDMI when your laptop is plugged into the HDMI cable provided. In our hyrbid-ready classrooms, cameras and speaker/microphone arrays are connected to the Dell Desktop PC at the lectern. Simply open Zoom and you'll be connected to the room system.  The speaker looks small or far away - can people really hear me? The modern echo-cancelling speakerphone technology contains up to six virtual microphones that are constantly scanning the room to determine who is speaking. They use algorithms to detect and suppress ambient noise and prevent feedback. The systems are designed to support the size of the room.  The Zoom audience says they can't hear, what do I do? Most often, this issue is caused by too much noise suppression between the Zoom software and the in room microphones.
