MLC Softphone installation instructions Step thru the normal installation process. The windows version will also need to install vcredist_x86 and vcredist_x64. Connect to the Oxy VPN Launch the application Click Activate Enter in Site Code provided We have a limited number of licenses so please use this on only one computer. Click on the gear wheel in the top right side to enter the settings. In the Account Name: put your email address In the User Name: enter in the 4 digit number we provided you In the Password: enter the same 4 digit number we gave you In the Server section: enter in 134.69.12.14 In the Proxy section:  Check the box and enter 134.69.12.14:5060 Click Save At the top of the application click on MLC Dialer. Your phone numbers and speed calls should all appear down the left side of the screen. To make an outgoing call click on the appropriate extension you want to make the call from and dial the number as you would if you were on campus (4 digit ext or 9+number for off-campus calls) You can go back into the settings to adjust audio sources for speakers, ringtone and microphone.

For single-line phones: To SET: Lift handset Dial *3 and wait for special dial tone (fast busy) Dial number to forward to exactly as you would dial it, such as 9-1-323-123-4567 Wait for service set tone (high-pitched tone) and hang up To CANCEL: Lift handset Dial #3 Wait for service set tone (high-pitched tone) and hang up For multi-line phones, you can do the same or: TO SET: Press SPEAKER and press the FDA soft key. Dial number to forward to exactly as you would dial it, such as 9-1-323-123-4567 After a pause the LCD will show SET. Press SPEAKER to go back on hook. The FDA soft key will show a * to indicate it is active. TO CANCEL: Press SPEAKER and press the FDA soft key. Dial * to cancel. (CANCEL will display in LCD.) Press SPEAKER to go back on hook.

In order to access your new voicemail box you'll first need to complete the system setup: Call x4000 or dial 323-341-4000 from off-campus Enter 0000 as the default security code Set up your new security code Next record your name (First and Last name) Lastly you'll be asked to set up your new voicemail greeting

Dial x4000 or (323) 341-4000 Press * Dial the extension for the voicemail box you need to access Enter the security code

Call x4000 or dial 323-341-4000 from off-campus Enter your security code Press * Press 3 for Phone Manager Options Press 4 to record a new standard greeting Press any key to stop recording Press 6 to review message Press 5 to save message OR Press 4 to discard and re-record message

Dial x4000, Press * Dial the extension for the voicemail box you need to access Enter the security code
